Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview is Available for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2

When Internet Explorer was introduced with Windows 8, Microsoft also announced that it was available for Windows 7 in November 2012. Recently, Microsoft has released the advanced version of Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2. But Microsoft was in a hurry and now Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview version is available on the Microsoft website but it is only for Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2. If you’re using a different operating system, you won’t be able to install Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview on your computer.

Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview system requirements:

Processor Computer with a 1 gigahertz (GHz) 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor.

  • Windows Server 2008 R2 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) 64-bit

In the olden days, Microsoft used to release only a single beta version to test all the features but since Windows 8, Microsoft has started a new process of releasing products. It seems that Microsoft will release Internet Explorer 10 in some more versions for testing then go through with the final version as was done with Windows 8.

Internet Explorer 10 is a more advanced version compared to the previous versions of Internet Explorer. It comes with beautiful UI and improved performance. We know that currently Google Chrome is the top browser in the internet browser market but there are still millions of internet users who always prefer to work with Internet Explorer and now it has become more powerful and safe. Users who have installed Windows 8 operating system are already familiar with Internet Explorer 10 but users who are still using Windows 7 can install Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview and familiarize themselves with its new features.

Internet Explorer 10 Release Preview is available in more than 45 worldwide languages and you can download it from the official Microsoft download center or use the link that I have put at the end of this article. Before downloading this Release Preview version you must know that it is a test version by Microsoft and it is possible that you might find that IE 10 is not behaving as you expect it to.
