I like to use download managers for downloading files like, ISO’s, software’s and books from the internet. But most download managers are paid and very expensive. After searching for a bit, finally, I discovered a free download manager from Microsoft.
The Microsoft Download Manager will enable you to download files from the Internet in a more reliable and faster way than using a browser alone. Microsoft Download Manager is a lightweight and easy-to-use tool because it is so simple for use just copy and paste URL in download manager and it will start downloading.
Once started, the Download Manager displays an easy-to-use interface that shows the status of downloads and enables you to resume downloads if they have failed. It can run minimized in the system tray and pops-up a unobtrusive notification every time a file download is complete or if the program has trouble downloading a particular file. Currently Microsoft Download manager does not support any authenticate download you can use only direct link to support resume.
Microsoft Download Manager is compatible with all recent versions of Windows including XP, Vista and Windows 7.
