Change Google Plus Language to Your Preferred Local Language
I just updated this post because Google Plus have made some changes in setting and i was got some comments about changes. I added new screenshot to understand in better way that “How we can change Google Plus language in other”. It is real fact that not all internet users know English language well and Google Plus understands this and have added language features so that users can interact on their platform in the language of their preference. You can choose out of more than 42 languages and start your Google Plus life. At present you can set two languages on your single Google Plus account. English comes with default settings and you can change it in your own or you can use “Add another language” option and add one more. After that you can also set your primary language.
How to change Google Plus Language ?
Google Plus settings:
1. First of all Sign in with your current Google Plus account and click on wrench icon at the top of right side. From extend menu click on Google+ Settings option to open all Google Plus settings.
2. Now you have complete access of Google Plus account settings. On left side panel you can see language option available click on it to get all language related settings.
3. Here you have two option change your current primary language or add another language. I am from India so i want to change it the Hindi language. To change Primary language click first option and choose your favorite language from list. But you can set your own language as secondary language also. To choose secondary language click on Add another language option.
4. If you added secondary language you can interchange it any time. To interchange primary and secondary language click on Make primary option.
5. When you click on Make primary option Google will show Settings updated message with reload link. Click on it to reload your Google plus page or you can manually reload page from browser reload button.
6. After reloading your Google Plus page you can see Google Plus in your own language.
I am sure you will happy to see Google Plus in your own language. You can revert all these all steps to change Google plus to other languages. Please do comment if you like this post.
My Google Plus account does not show the word Languages in the left column and I cannot find anyplace where I can tell Google Plus to show all English. I am in the Philippines and Google shows in mostly English but plenty of Tagalog in Chrome and Mostly Tagalog in Firefox.
My menu bar does not look like what you show here and I cannot find anyplace where I am offered an option for languages so far after looking all over.
Ask someone to send invitation then you can see all options there. I think you are not on Google Plus check url same like this https://plus.google.com/
I have a similar problem.
I can’t get Google to understand that just because I am in the Philippines does NOT mean that I want to see all their stuff in Tagalog.
I have to get a Tagalog speaker to help me set up the account and convert it to English.
All my long standing Google accounts are in English. In Google Plus top right, Settings, I have selected English as the Primary (and only) language. But there is still Tagalog in the Streams.
Any help welcome. Come on Google. Be sensible !!!

Except this only changes google preferences..not google+. My buttons and google+ site is all in German still..even with English as my primary language setting.
Yes, I had an invite from a German friend (email in German), and the Google Plus menu bar on the left still shows in German, even though I have changed the language settings to English – appears to still be a few bugs in the system

i m into same troublr some russian guy invited me. i dont know tat language script . not finding any left navigation . cozi dont understand the language only . now wat to do? i cant even guess also . plz anybody invite me in english to google plus please

Disgusting. Cant login to google+. Now I am in the Middle East and all comes in Arabic. I have to login to Gmail and then get into google+. Loosing friends too. Why Google products always have these type of problems in the beginning.

I do understand that Google + is still in Beta and we can expect glitches, but I still find it amazing that the default language is based on current location (or apparently the nationality of who invited you) rather than the settings in all the other Google Apps I use that are linked and accessed by the same email. If Google can select the ads I see in Gmail based on the content of my emails, surely it can work out my preferred language? Thank you for the very clear instructions on how to change the language.
My friends have shared their photos with me on plus.google.com. When I tried to register, my page comes out in Arabic and the translation is taking hours and hours. I need the page in English (I do not know Arabic) I just live in an Arab country. What is the solution?

i created an google page.. but i cant login to my account…. if i login to my account means it goes to my google + profile page, but i cant open my created Blog page

My Google account and Google+ both have US English as their default language. However, since abt 2 or 3 weeks every time I log out of Google+ the closing page is in Spanish! (on my Windows XP, not on Linux). And I have never even been to Spain! Is this a virus? Is this a bug?
Try with other browser or clear all your browser cookies and cache.
Great to see everyone else has the same problem… my browser language is set to English, my default language in Google Plus is Set to English, my Region is Set to Australia, however under Stream, on my personal profile language is “Spanish” and under Company it’s English… go figure, obviously a bug, wasted too much time on this!
