Today, I am going to cover the process of changing Outlook.com Email account password. It is a good practice to keep changing your password frequently for the safety of your account. To protect your account from hackers, it becomes important that you have a complicated password and even then you should change them after regular time intervals. Like other email services, Outlook.com also has the option to change password with a few steps which I have mentioned below.

1. Login with your Outlook.com account and click on the Gear icon then on More mail settings. It is the basic first step used most often and I have already explained this step in my previous Outlook.com related articles.

2. On the More mail settings page, click on Account details (password, addresses, time zone) and it will open a new tab (account settings page) in your browser. It is possible that Outlook.com will ask you to enter your password again due to security reasons.
