RAM is a very important part of computer and adequate RAM is critical to its smooth functioning. RAM is special memory module on computer motherboard which holds programs in memory to increase their starting speed. These days the latest operating systems need a minimum of 2GB RAM with more the better. On my personal laptop I have 2GB RAM which is adequate enough to run all types of programs without any problem. I am happy with 2 GB but it is a problem when my system is activated from hibernation stage. Hibernated system needs more RAM space than normal booting system and it is a biggest issue for me because I always hibernate my system so that I can start it fast whenever I am on it. Once I open my laptop from hibernate mode CPU meter always shows RAM usage at over 80-85% and my system becomes pretty slow. After little searching on net I found a freeware Windows utility to keep the system RAM clean and fast in all Windows mode (Normal Booting and Hibernate/Sleep). Memory Cleaner is an awesome tool which lets you clean and free up RAM with one click. I am really impressed with its performance because it reduces my memory usage drastically from the current 85 to 50% at once to a much more reasonable level and also have the option to set automatic clean RAM every 5 minutes. Everything on my laptop is now working fine like fresh boot system.
On the main interface of this RAM cleaner tool you can see all the information related to memory capacity and usage. On the Task box we have two options to free up RAM, first is Trim Process Working Set and the other one is Clear System Cache. When I clicked on the first option it freed up my 50% RAM at once and increased my system speed. System cache is also working like RAM and sometimes that too gets overloaded like RAM and needs to be cleaned up to free-up some space and increase system speed. To clean-up system cache click on Clear System Cache button and it will immediately clean it up.
Options tab gave us some extra features like you can schedule this application to clean system cache and RAM every 5 minutes. This option is really helpful because using this option you don’t need to start this application again and it will automatically clean up system cache and RAM every 5 minutes. To automatically start Memory Cleaner at Windows start-up, select the relevant check box under the Options tab.
You can access Memory Cleaner functions from the tray icon without having to open up the main window. Memory Cleaner can be use on Windows XP/7/Vista both 32 and 64 bit version. If you find your RAM usage exceeding 60% regularly, then Memory Cleaner is an absolute must have.
